Review:
I've worked with Office 2003 for some time. I was looking for more information on Publisher. Instead got a book of all the basics. Great if you know little about Office 2003, but not much help otherwise.
So so:
This book is just too much. It is almost 2 inches thick, making it clumsy to study. It tries to cover so much it doesn't cover the individual parts of Office 2003 very well. I bought it primarily to learn how to do macros in Excel. The section on macros is nearly incomprehensible. I found free information on the internet that enabled me to write macros right away.
Big help, but...:
wish I had bought it when I first bought Office 2003. Now I'm needing to get Office 2007 which has some really cool bells and whistles, but looks very different than 03. Hopefully, Office 2007 will be written just as well. You can't beat the Dummies books!
Great Book:
I ordered the wrong year of M.S.O. but I was still able to use some of it..
