"History of Washington County, Tennessee", a bicentennial project, will provide readers an overview of the long and often colourful past of Tennessee's oldest county. This comprehensive county history is over 1200 pages with over one hundred photographs. It includes over thirty major chapters, as well as dozens of community histories, religious denominations, clubs and organisations, museums, visitor centres and recreational sites, and over one hundred notable people.
